AP CID registers case against Chandrababu on Sunday Naidu and Lokesh, identify them as A1 and A2 respectively. The move comes on the instructions of the State Election Commission, which directed the CID to respond to a complaint filed by YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnuvardhan.
After registering the case, CID officials went to the TDP office in Mangalagiri and issued a notice to the party office, party official spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy confirmed Got this.
The complaint filed by the YSRCP MLA alleged that the TDP was spreading false information through IVR calls. The calls allegedly contained deceptive statements about Land Title Act.
Maradi expressed concern about the impact of these appeals on voters, arguing that they could unduly influence their opinions. According to him, the IVR campaign started after the Model Code of Conduct came into effect and the message targeted at voters not only misrepresented the Land Titles Act but also discouraged support for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and encouraged voting for Nara Chandrababu Nai Du.
Similarly, the TDP also filed a complaint with the EC against YSRCP, alleging YSRCP social media team led by Sajjala Bhargav Reddy of conducting malicious activities against Nara Chandrababu Naidu, while the Telugu Desam Party, through IVRS, said that by spreading “false information and inciting enmity” To “mislead” the public. The TDP also alleged criminal conspiracy and serious violation of the electoral model code of conduct (MCC).
TDP national general secretary and politburo member Varla Ramaiah filed the complaint on Saturday. An audio clip was included with his complaint.
After receiving the complaint from the TDP, the Election Commission directed the cyber crime wing of the CID to register a case and start investigation. However, the CID is yet to register a case or issue a notice to Sajjala Bhargav Reddy.
