While blaming Congress, PDP, and National Conference for treating Jammu & Kashmir as a dumping ground for terrorism, chief minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that PM Modi and home minister Amit Shah’s initiatives have put an end to acts of terror in the state. He even said these stone pelters have disappeared.
Sticking to his machinegun approach in poll rally campaign in J&K, he inquired from Rahul whether he endorsed NC’s call of bringing Article 370 and 35A which cushions J&K yet again plunging the region into unrest and terrorism.
“Is it the policy of the Congress party to encourage separatism unto the Kashmiri youth by making an alliance with the neighbouring state of Pakistan? Is it the policy of the Congress party that supports terrorist activities across the border by the NC’s earning where they trade at the LOC with Pakistan? Is it the policy of the Congress party to support women, terror and bandhs for deadlocked government jobs for the stone-pelters’ and separatists’ family members?” he asked.
Yogi Adityanath described Pakistan as “a disease of humanity,” and vowed that once the BJP forms the government in Jammu and Kashmir, ‘Pakistan administered Kashmir will integrate with India.’ Kashmir, which is occupied by Pakistan, he said, wants independence from Pakistan.
“Getting opinions from those there, there is also a notion that if elections are carried in Muzaffarabad together with Jammu and Kashmir elections, it would send out a positive message,” he said adding, ‘Balochistan’ too is saying, that it is not on good chemistry with Pakistan.
The UP CM who was on the campaigning trip for BJP candidates in Ramgarh, Vijaypur, Samba, RS Pura, Suchetgarh and Bishnah. Yogi also targeted Pakistan, Adding Pakistan cannot even save democracy. He stated that it was PM Narendra Modi who fulfilled the vision of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by removing article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir.
Terrorism’s nurseries have been closed and eradicated. Congress, PDP and National Conference had made a terror depot out of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorism is a thing of the past; these were the views of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Even the stone pelters have disappeared as he still maintained that BJP was essential for growth and peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
While rolling out a range of welfare activities rolled out by the BJP government at the centre, Yogi elaborated that out of these, in Jammu and Kashmir alone, benefits of PM Awas Yojana were availed by 2.75 lakh poor households.
Specifying the text in detail he said, ‘In Pakistan, one cannot even imagine the situation of the beggars who are begging for food.’ ‘Let us now credit Maharaja Hari Singh and Premnath Dora and Brig Rajeendra Singh, for it was they who made Jammu and Kashmir ‘A heaven on earth’,’ Yogi said.
“In that sense, Congress, PDP, and NC erred by allowing the discord to degenerate into a communal riot,” he remarked, adding that the next elections will be a good reminder of that for the opposition.
CM Yogi painted a picture of the new Jammu and Kashmir which was not a terrorism state but a ‘tourism destination’. In a way, during the time of Congress, PDP, NC, it was like, one had to beg to raise the tricolor to the masthead.
“But now, the summit of G-20 is done here. Earlier there used to be threats to the Amarnath Yatra. Now, not only this entire country but the whole world comes to pay their respect to Baba Barfani and Maa Vaishno,” he explained.
The CM also blamed Congress, PDP, NC for the ‘inhuman’ repression that was practiced towards Kashmiri Pandits.
