Caen: Last Saturday, Terence Harold, a World War II veteran who turned 100 years old in April, is set to wed his 96-year-old fiancée. This happened in the French town of Caen.

He lost his wife Thelma with whom he lived together for seventy years raising three children after war until her death occurred last year.
A friend introduced him to Swerlin this year; she is a widow and a magnetic person who became inseparable from him since then.
“She made everything beautiful,” he told AFP last month when interviewed at their home in Florida. “She made life worth living.”
When asked about her fiancee, Swerling said, “He’s an incredible person.”
