Demonstrations in Bangladesh has reached a boiling point as on Monday some protestors broke the curfew and entered into the palace of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina forcing her to quit and leave the country.
In Dhaka, rioters further escalated jubilant crowds’ actions by demolishing a statue of Bangladesh’s father figure Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
As reported by AFP correspondent, police and soldiers riding in an armored truck blocked off the path leading to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s office in Dhaka using barbed wires.
