Hager fell ill on stage.
New Delhi: Congress president Malika Junhaq felt unwell while addressing a public rally on Sunday Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. He later mocked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said: “I will survive until Prime Minister Modi is ousted.”
Haji was addressing a rally ahead of the third phase of elections in J&K when he started gasping for breath.
After taking a sip of water, Hager resumed speaking, although he ended quickly. The congressman then helped him back to his seat.
Haq later said, “We will fight to restore our statehood. I am 83 years old and I will not die so early. I will live until Prime Minister Modi is ousted.”
