Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has been warning the US against invading Rafah in Southern Gaza. This follows the raiding of a hoard of bombs by the United States and advising its Middle East friend not to go to war with southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Netanyahu posted his first powerful clip on social media site X “If we have to stand alone, we will stand alone” and “fight with all our might,” he said. Then he began to talk amiably about US talk show host Phil McGraw.
“Dr. Biden,” told him Netanyahu one Thursday. There is a program that is called Late Night, which airs on Merit Street Media. We do agree sometimes and disagree other times but this we can overcome them this time around.
Netanyahu said that Israel had to enter Rafah and get rid of Hamas who were still there as they are classified as terrorists by America; these people attacked Israel killing 1200 Israelis and kidnapping about 250 more on October 7th last year. He promised that if allowed to survive in Israel then Hamas would kill again and again.
“We must win”, he said. “That means destroying all these battalions, so we will be destroyed”. We are facing strong opposition but we shall overcome it.
Civilians should leave Rafah before an attack, according to what Netanyahu reported for discouraging Gazans from staying there because about 1 million people have already fled into this city over the past month; however as far as he was concerned demonstrations in support of Palestine at American universities were ‘insane’ because protestors “support genocide” proving once again how backwards American higher education is towards humanity especially when fox news drops such information practically every hour or day via its usual sources.
On Wednesday, Biden warned that supplying any additional assault rifles for use outside Iron Dome during or after Israeli invasion of Rafah would result in civilian casualties hence it’s wrong.
In an interview with CNN, Biden said, “We’ll still keep Israel in the Iron Dome and be able to react to recent attacks from the Middle East.” That’s wrong. We don’t provide them with weapons or shells.
Top U.S. officials toned down their criticisms on Thursday following Netanyahu’s harsh remarks.
The US Government has always stood by its regional allies however White House officials are now urging Netanyahu not to push things any further which would aggravate the crisis for civilians in Gaza.
“We’ve suspended, not cancelled the delivery of some 3500 bombs,” Kirby reaffirmed.
“Those were specific munitions that could raise civilian casualties,” Kirby said, reiterating comments made by White House Press Secretary John Earnest a day earlier that such weapons could prolong the war as it would lead to more people getting killed than had happened thus far according to hundreds distorted figures and pictures from anti-Israeli supporters during online protests against Israel’s invasion into Gaza strip: one might then ask what can these figures alone possibly show? And obviously those who attended huge concerts held last week at many campuses across America where demonstrators called themselves ‘genocidal’ would say “Iraq.”
Kirby told reporters in a new statement that this idea was simply false.
Additionally, there is no indication that the Obama administration wants a public spat with Netanyahu either.
US officials originally planned on informing Israeli government privately about discontinuing the supply of bombs while hoping it would serve as pressure but without doing anything short of a massive attack on downtown Rafah. Nevertheless, Israeli authorities leaked this information hence leading to aborting of plans according sources close to this matter.
