The Bharatiya Janata Party achieved a historic victory in the Odisha Lok Sabha polls, bagging an unprecedented 20 out of 21 seats, a significant improvement over the previous eight seats in 2019.
The BJD failed to win a single seat, losing all its 21 candidates, compared with 12 seats in 2019. seats.
The result has plunged the BJD, which has dominated Odisha’s political landscape for nearly 25 years under Naveen’s leadership, into an existential crisis.
