Karnataka PGCET 2024: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has now started to accept applications for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. Students aspiring to pursue M.Tech must write this exam.
Important Dates:
• Starting date for application registration is May 28, 2024 at 11:00 am.
• The last date of application submission will be June 17, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
• Deadline for paying the fee is set on June 18, 2024 until 6:00 pm.
Exam Date
• ME/M.Tech./ M.Arch.: July 13,2:30pm-4:30pm,2024.
• MCA: July14 ,10:30am-12:30pm,2024
• MBA : July14 , 2.30pm – 04.30 PM.,2024

Eligibility:
• Local/Non-Karnataka candidates can apply.
• Minimum Qualifying Exam Marks:
• General Merit Candidates: Total of about fifty percent
• SC/ST/I Category (Karnataka Only): Aggregate of forty five percent
Candidates in engineering and technology field who are GATE eligible are exempted from PGCET for M.Tech in VTU offered courses only in respect to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

Reservation Policy:
SC/ST/OBC reservation criteria would only be applicable for admission into MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka state only.
Non-Karnataka students can apply for leftover seats from management’s quota but are not eligible for reservations thereon after if any exists..
The Application Process:
Go to the KEA website at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/
Registration and Application online from May 28 to June 17.
Pay the application fees by 18th June.
Download admission ticket after the payment of fee is done.
Documents Needed:
• Marks sheets of qualifying examination
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate (if applicable)
• SATS number (students from in Karnataka only)
• RD number (Karnataka Students only).
The Selection Process:
Admission selection will be based on PGCET score 2024 only. Candidates should be present for document verification and selection filling after the exam.

Candidates are advised to read the information bulletin very carefully before applying. Whatever was entered while registering online will not be changed. Meeting eligibility, submitting documents, completing verification process are essential points that lead to admission.

Candidate should note that admission to PG Courses is subject to Government approval/VTU or concerned University. Mere qualification in PGCET-2024 does not confer any right of admission unless all eligibility criteria are met, documents submitted and verification process completed.
