The latest outage has affected the ATMs, app, website, net banking services and UPI transactions of one of the largest public sector banks as the bank’s servers appear to be down. Customers also reported the impact of the outage on them via social media platform X (formerly Twitter). These users stated that they were unable to access their accounts or conduct transactions. Meanwhile, others complained of being unable to transfer money using their accounts for UPI transactions as the service claimed to be “temporarily unavailable”. According to outage tracking website DownDetector, more than 170 reports have been registered in the past hour, with services such as online banking, fund transfers and balance inquiries affected.
