Jasprit Bumrah is an Indian cricketer and one of the best fast bowlers in international crickets. Bumrah joined the Indian national squad in 2016 and soon cemented a crucial position in all formats of the game. Consequently, I do not regard my athlete’s opponents, but direct my actions at myself, accordingly, imagine if I think I am all shaped and in control of everything and that if I give myself the best opportunity then everything else will fall into place rather than handing over the power to the batsman that he is going to beat me and that he is better than me, that I do not want to.”
To put it mildly, Bumrah has been the most valuable member of the team that lifted India’s T20 World Cup in June this year.
Bumrah had made 15 dismissals and had achieved an incredible average of 8.26 and returned with an economics of 4.17 which was the best rate to have bowled minimum twenty overs in the tournament and in that tournament, which saw India reclaiming their first ICC trophy since 2013, he was crowned the Player of the Tournament.
