How the shooting started

Leaders speak against shooting
Biden expressed sorrow and shock over the incident saying, “Jill and I mourn the fact that there are still people who have lost their lives to yet another mindless attack and green wishing all other ghosts of any who survived this evil.” A statement. He joined the call for a cross-party response urging Republicans and Democrats to put their heads together to come up with “sensible gun safety laws.”

Stating that he does not oppose initiation of the probe but does want it to be used in political battles Geor Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp was se rather clear about what the investigation should focus on this time and said politics should not occupy the center of attention. “This is not a day to argue about politics or policy. This is a day that is meant to look into and regret the loss of these beautiful Georgians.”
