According to Pinkvilla, the release date of “Indian 2” is set for July instead of June.The film has been in production since January 2019 but faced delays due to Accident scene and the COVID-19 pandemic.
With production resuming in 2022, producers are getting closer to the film’s release. “Indian 2” is the sequel to the 1996 hit film “Indian”. It portrays Kamal Hassan as an anti-corruption vigilante.The first film ends with the character Senapathi leaving India Hongkong But when corruption resurfaces it comes back. The sequel also stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha and others in important roles.
