Passengers were obligingly evacuated Ryanair The flight came after the plane encountered a fire incident shortly before takeoff. Reportedly, smoke was visible outside the aircraft at Brindisi Airport in the southern Italian region.
Already shortly there after, the said action was taken by their assignees and a total of 184 passengers on the ship were evacuated. For this purpose, Firefighters were deployed to the site of the accident.
Ryanair’s spokesperson stated, “This morning flight FR8826 from Brindisi to Turin was delayed due to smoke from outside of the aircraft noticed by the crew.” All the passengers managed to disembark without any apparent incidents and were taken back to the terminal by bus.
As a result of the brishde closure of the Brindisi International Airport, operation resumed normal on the next day. This, however was confirmed by Airport Operator PUGLIA AIRPORT which stated that, normal operations recommenced to the later on morIng hours.
To prevent further aggravation of the situation, Ryanair said that there is no other course of action than to fly to Turin where the stranded passengers will be transported on a spare aircraft by Ryanair as soon as this Thursday evening.
