Bachniganthis UP Board Level 10 Topper Prachi scored an impressive 98.5%, recently marred by recent online hate for facial hair in her academic life. In a BBC Hindi interview, she said that these comments did not affect her since what she most worried about were grades and marks but not appearance. “I didn’t have so much points I wouldn’t be on the top, famous. It could be better.”
To offer a “glow and shine” makeover, content creator Anish Bhagatt visited Prachi at her home in Mahmudabad, Sitapur. “Today I am going to Mahmudabad to meet someone we should all be proud of,” said Anish in a video he posted on his Instagram account. Among the top 5.5 million students is Prachi Nigam.” This led to a situation where more people cared only about how she looked instead of what she had done hence bullying from everybody in India.
Why do women have to go through this stuff? So, Anish set out to do make over; one that the whole nation must see and which can help Prachi look beautiful among others.
In the video, Prachi is see painting her nails, applying mascara while straightening her hair. However when they unveiled Prachi’s new look, it was exactly as before which was their message too after all. Parchi confidently says: “I still feel like me”.
At the end of the video clip, Prachi gives an empowering advice: “Dear women… don’t try to fix something that was never broken”. The heartfelt post received numerous positive comments on Instagram with users praising it Anish Bhagatt’s thoughtful response to the troll.
