New Delhi: Spiritual Leader Sri Sri Ravishankar Strong condemnation of arrest of ISKCON pastor on Tuesday Chinmoy Krishna Das Free Mp3 Download Brahmacharya Bengaldescribing it as a retrograde step that harms the country’s image.
Speaking on the issue, he said: “It is inappropriate for the prime minister of a neighboring country to arrest a spiritual leader. Ravi Shankar expressed disappointment at the behavior of Bangladeshi leaders, saying: “Arresting religious priests does not do them, the people, the country, or even the image of Bangladesh any good. Ravi Shankar then urged decisive action to protect Bengal’s minorities. “We request the Bangladesh government to take care of their minorities and control the radical elements who are ransacking their country and its image. Bangladesh has always been considered a very liberal and progressive country. Do you want to take this country backward? This is A very regrettable situation,” the spiritual leader added.

Ravishankar further hoped that the Indian government would take a firm stand and exert diplomatic pressure on Bangladesh to resolve the issue and appealed to the international community. “Hopefully the Indian government will also apply pressure, and I appeal to the international community not to let this situation continue and apply pressure to bring safety and security to the minorities and make the people there safe,” he said.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) expressed “grave concern” over the arrest of Fr ISKON. In a statement, the MEA highlighted the plight of Bangladesh’s Hindu minority, citing recent violence. “We note with deep concern the arrest and denial of bail of Shri Chinmoy Krishna Das, who is also the spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatan Jagran Jote. This incident comes amid repeated attacks on Hindus and other minorities by extremists in Bangladesh What happened after the nation.
The MEA also noted that while perpetrators of violence against minorities remain at large, religious leaders advocating for peace demands have been targeted. “It is unfortunate that charges have been brought against religious leaders who made legitimate demands through peaceful gatherings,” the statement added, calling on Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety of Hindus and all minorities.
Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari was arrested from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday. Local police confirmed the detention, but specific charges have not been released. There were reports that Das was heading to Chittagong, where he and 18 others are facing charges for allegedly disrespecting the national flag during a Hindu rally in Chittagong’s New Market area on October 30.
The arrest sparked protests from Bangladesh’s Hindu community, with demonstrators demanding justice and protection for the minority.
