Darshan is one of the most admired actors in Sandalwood because of his large fan base that is difficult to find anywhere else. They all supported him as a group although it seems like they divided themselves into two camps over his wife Vijayalakshmi and girlfriend Pavitra Gundam.
While some fans hold a torch for Vijayalakshmi who has been Darshan’s spouse for approximately 20 years, others can’t help but drool over the hot couple Darshan-Pavitra.Police sources said Renu Kaswami, who was later killed, was among these fans. He wanted his favorite actor to stop being seen with Pavitra and live happily as a married man.
Fans become glued on their screens waiting what the superstar will do next especially when shadowboxing on social media. For instance, Vijayalakshmi and more recently Pavitra. The picture which she posted on January 24 this year changed everything. In response, she made a video showing herself, her daughter and Darshan.
Vijayalakshmi responded by posting previously unseen photos of Pavitra with her first husband Sanjay Singh, stating how much she despised people who blatantly show themselves off with someone else’s husband.
The caption further read: “I wish this woman would come to her senses before posting a picture of someone else’s husband; it says a lot about her character… I don’t usually use social media to speak out on personal issues…will take a strict approach to that Legal action is taken against those who are trying to project a different image to society as a whole (sic).
For example, many admirers of Darshan applauded Vijayalakshmi for liking Pavitra. User Dhruthi wrote: “I am still your fan but I felt hurt so bad after knowing about this We are behind you (sic).
Then Pavitra replied with an encrypted message on her wall which said, “Darshan and I have been happily together for ten years…Vijayalakshmi has been there before. On the topic, Vijaya Lakshmi Jayalakshmi called and spoke to me multiple times and told me she had no concerns. However, Pavitra’s comments on the post were few while Darshan’s followers commented that he was lucky to find one woman who would stand with him for 10 years.
