On Wednesday members and acquaintances paid their last respects at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). Amol Kale, who died on Monday in New York, will be brought by MCA to Wankhede Stadium.
According to the MCA, Kale’s body will lie in state at the MCA Lounge from 1-2 p.m. and then it will be taken for Antim Dashon to his home situated at Bali Mountain bandera. The crematory is Santa Cruz Hindu one and this will happen at five o’clock P.M between 4-5 p.m mourners can gather there as suggested by BCCI.
A post that read “deeply saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Amol kale Rai; BCCI secretary Jay Shah Deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.” was put up by him. This tribute was made in honor of an Indian cricketing hero called Sachin Tendulkar.
