one AIIMS-Delhi female guard charged chief security officer of sexual harassment and hurled casteist remarks at her. The medical agency has launched an investigation against the official, PTI reported on Friday.
The institute authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
Sources said the woman guard accused the chief security officer of sexually harassing her and making caste remarks when she asked the chief security officer about her duty list.
The investigation will be led by KK Verma, dean of the college and chairman of the institute’s committee for resolving SC/ST/OBC related grievances, and Punit Kaur, head of the Department of Biophysics and chairman of the internal complaints committee on sexual harassment.
Both committees have been directed to submit preliminary reports along with supporting evidence within seven days of the issuance of the memorandum.
