BMW India has launched the newly upgraded BMW M2 sports coupe in the Indian market, with a starting price of Rs 103 crore (ex-showroom). The new M2 now features subtle exterior changes, more power, new color options and more features. The new M2 will continue to enter the country via CBU (completely built-up) models, and interested customers can reserve the car online or visit their nearest dealership.
Design-wise, the new M2 remains largely unchanged with minimal changes. Now available in four new colors – Portimao Blue, Fiery Red, Sao Paulo Yellow and Skyscraper Grey. The car features a frameless kidney grille with horizontal strips, three-section lower air intake, racing-style diffuser and standard black exhaust pipes. Buyers can choose a sunroof or carbon fiber roof, as well as the tint of the headlights. The car is equipped with M light alloy wheels, 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear, and equipped with M Sport brake calipers.
Inside, the new M2 features a flat-bottomed steering wheel with optional Alcantara trim. It also includes a new Ui with the latest generation iDrive system. Features include 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power seats with memory function, M seat belts, adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist, Harman Kardon sound system, BMW Connected Suite, Wireless charging, etc.
this 2024 BMW M2 It continues to be powered by an updated twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine that produces 473 horsepower and 600 torque. The updated engine power has been increased by 20 horsepower and the range has been increased by 50 nautical miles. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The new M2 is equipped with adaptive M-specific suspension, M Sport differential and M Performance compound brakes. BMW claims that the new M2 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds with the AT gearbox and 4.2 seconds with the 6-speed MT, and can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. This speed can be increased to 285 km/h with the optional M Driving Package available at extra cost.
