This was a surprising match as many predicted the World Heavyweight Championship would change hands. Contrary to expectations, Damian Priest successfully defended his title while sticking to the agreement he made with Seth. What made this match even more interesting was McIntyre’s involvement.
The writing was on the wall that McIntyre would likely cash in his MITB contract to get a shot at the title, so he did. He would have been successful without CM Punk’s involvement. While many expected Punk to interfere in the Money in the Bank match, he couldn’t have chosen a better time to make his statement.

When Ivo Skye decided to look after Zoe Stark, Chelsea decided to cash in on the contract. However, Stratton used her brains to push up Chelsea’s ladder, dumping her and winning the coveted contract.
