Meanwhile, lack of suitable conference halls in Trichy has been a challenge event organizer. “The existing wedding halls are not enough to host grand events. Convention centers are crucial as people are willing to spend money for private functions,” said event organizer S Arockia Paulraj.
The lack of such facilities also affects property shows and book fairs, which often use wedding halls or school grounds to host events.
