This group’s new release broke into the spotlight by charting at number 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, which registers the third time the group has been within the top 10 entries on the U.S. chart. Billboard announced the achievement on September 8 and the fans were ecstatic and the news of the group’s increasing popularity was even more appreciated on a global platform.
With “CRAZY”, the week of the group’s success cemented its title in the history of LE SSERAFIM as their best week in the United States.
As per the report of Luminate, total 47000 equivalent album units for this album in the amount of 47000 were accumulated by the 5th of September with 38000 in conventional album purchase and 9000 streaming equivalent album unit sales by Luminate. This is equivalent to a whopping figure of 12.08 million on-demand for the span of just a week.
To make things even better, the album “CRAZY” not only conquered the Billboard 200 chart but also reached the number one position on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, which made it the best selling album in the U.S. for the week.
Considering the achievements of the group for the present year, this assessment – LE SSERAFIM’s fourth successive placement in the Billboard 200 goes after the preceding ones – ANTIFRAGILE (position 14, UNFORGIVEN (position 6), and EASY (position 8) does not surprise. LE SSERAFIM is a five-member girl group formed under Source Music with members Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha and Hong Eun-chae. She withdrew from that position and was active in an incomplete. They further set out to make their maiden performance in anticipation of making the intended debut on 2nd May 2022. Their maiden EP, fearless making them the fastest selling kpop girl business ever. And later their rise was continued with the hit engulfing a million copy selling Antifragile and their debut on Billy board.
