Hoogly MP Locket Chatterjee (BJP) contests against Rachana Banerjee (Trinamool) on May 20th.The TMC did not explain how it plans to actively provide external assistance to the Indian Bloc without turning towards the Congress party which actually spearheads this alliance.
“CM will take a final stand for the party. Hence I am not commenting upon any of her statements,” said Kunal Ghosh, ex-Rajya Sabha MP from TMC being asked about his reaction.

While addressing the Chinsurah rally, Mamata called PM Narendra Modi a “puppeteer” and said that the Election Commission was controlled by him. “EC is under instructions from Modi. And then we have promised to extend Ayushman Bharat for people above 70 years of age which he announced after Model Code of Conduct was implemented.
