‘Lucky Bhaskar’ is a Telugu film directed by Venky Atluri with Dulquer Salmaan starring in the lead role and is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 7th. The release of this movie was earlier set for September 27th, but it had been moved to avoid being released on the same day as Jnr NTR’s “Dvara”. It has now emerged that Vijay’s “GOAT” might clash at the box office with the producers of Let’s Cinema who have announced another postponement.
Despite being a Telugu film, because of Dulquer Salmaan having quite a following in Tamil, efforts would also be made towards dubbing the film into Tamil and releasing it there; otherwise, if it clashes at the box office with GOAT, chances are that its Tamil version might not get as many views as expected. Nevertheless, makers have some reservations before finalizing their decision because both movies drop within a span of two days. However, there has been no official confirmation yet.
‘Lucky Bhaskar’ is a financial thriller and teasers for it have already been launched followed by two singles from the same film. It also includes Meenakshi Chaudhary who features prominently acts as one of the leads while GV Prakash Kumar scores its music. The period drama set in 1980s tells us about an enigmatic banker who is fabulously rich and somehow we may think he deserves what he earns.
On another note, when did you last watch GOAT trailer? The science fiction action drama was recently launched by Venkat Prabhu. The cast of the film includes Vijay among others. Other casts include Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Mohan, Ajmal, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Premji, Vaibhav. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored music for Vijay who played father-son in one movie and the film will be in theatres on September 5th.
