The election results experienced a big shock on the final day. Mammootty Suresh Gopi had already emerged as the winner for Lok Sabha from Kerala representing Thrissur constituency. This victory means a lot in his political career, especially after losing consecutively in Lok Sabha by poll 2019 and 2021 Assembly elections.
During his movie promotions Garudan Suresh Gopi narrated an interesting piece about Mammootty the actor. He told him one day mammoth only once proposed to this he would not join any of these electoral operations. Suresh Gopi quoted Mammootty saying, “If you win the election, you can never lead an ordinary life. There are no problems for you when you are part of Lok Sabha because there is nothing like accountability.”
Mammootty further advised him that he should go ahead with their plans if he was competent enough. “But if you win through people’s vote, everyone will follow you,” it said.
“Enjoyed the challenge,” said Suresh Gopi while Mammootty replied,” Let it be”. Thus their dialogue indicated that beyond all odds they were good friends although sometimes they have some disagreements which make things more tantalizing.
Furthermore, Mr.Gopie laborated how good friends he and Mammootty were and described him as someone simple but strong. He reiterated that through their playful fights or banter they proved that they had a very close bond of friendship between them .
