On Monday, Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy expressed his support for Donald Trumps’ choice of JD Vance as his running mate in the upcoming US presidential election.
Ramaswamy, who was Vance’s classmate at law school, remembered how they used to sit together in bars and watch Bengals games, noting how much they have achieved within a decade.
“Today I am very proud of my friends, classmates and fellow Southwestern Ohioans. We were at the bar in law school watching Bengals games, and now here we are ten years later, with JD joining the strongest team of our lives. presidential ticket, that’s awesome,” he wrote on X.
Ramaswamy is confident that Vance will be an excellent Vice President and anticipates for this partnership having a positive impact on the country. Ramaswamy had earlier been a formidable presence in the 2024 Republican presidential contest but bowed out after finishing fourth in Iowa behind Trump Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Nikki Haley ex-south Carolina governor
Trump officially named JD Vance as his running mate through a post on Truth Social last Monday as U.S. Presidential Election nears. Born James David Bowman in Middletown, Ohio, Vance faced adversity early in life including a mother struggling with drug addiction and an absentee father. He grew up with his grandparents.
President Joe BidenTrump started his reelection campaign in April 2023 and views this election as one where voters would either uphold American democracy or destroy it under Trump.
Meanwhile November 2022 saw Trump initiate another bid to obtain White House becoming the second president to serve non-consecutive terms.
