bollywood actor Sonu Sood pay tribute former prime minister Manmohan Singh described him as a “visionary” leader who made India proud. The former prime minister passed away at the age of 92 at AIIMS in Delhi on Thursday evening.
In an interview with ANI, Sonu Sood expressed condolences on the death of the former Indian Prime Minister and said:
“Dr Manmohan Singh was a visionary and due to him many significant changes took place in the country…He is remembered by everyone in the country today. The next generation will also be grateful to him and hope for more of this leader who entered politics to benefit the country… We are proud of him.
Like Sonu Sood, several other celebrities also paid high tribute to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and called him a visionary leader.
Anil Kapoor wrote on Instagram: “Manmohan Singh Ji was not only a visionary leader but also the architect of economic reforms in modern India. It was a great privilege to meet him in person and it left a lasting impression on me. He left an indelible impression – a man whose unparalleled humility and wisdom will forever be remembered.

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene also paid tribute to Manmohan Singh.
She wrote: “Dr Manmohan Singh’s journey and service to the nation exemplify true wisdom and grace. His leadership reminds us that silent determination can move mountains. He was an outstanding leader and a A more distinguished man.
Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh also shared a picture of Manmohan Singh on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Oh Waheguru (Folded Palms emoji)”.
Manmohan Singh was born on September 26, 1932. He is the 13th Prime Minister of India, serving from 2004 to 2014.
He served as India’s Finance Minister for five years, from 1991 to 1996, and was recognized worldwide for his role in pursuing comprehensive economic reform policies. In the popular view in India at that time, that period was inextricably related to the figure of Singh.
His last rites were performed at Nigambodh Ghat in the national capital on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Sonu Sood will next be seen in the film Fateh, which will also be his directorial debut. Produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, Fateh will star Sonu Sood alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Nasiruddin Shah.
