Aaron Finch and David Warner sharing a lovely moment during Australia’s match against Oman in Barbados on Thursday. The former captain applauding Warner for having surpassed his record of most runs in T20 Internationals for the country.
Filmed by the commentary box while Finch applauded his former partner after he broke through his 3,120-run mark in the shortest format.
Warner noticed Fincher on the big screen applauding and waved back almost immediately.
“The biggest disappointment out there,” commentator Nasser Hussain quipped as Fincher lauded Warner for achieving this. “These two people had so much love between them,” Hussein added on air.
Warner is set to play its final game T20 World Cup 56 off 51 balls, including six fours and a six, surpassed his former batting partner.
In fact, he has scored 27 half centuries and one ton in T20Is thus far.
Finch on the other hand has accumulated 3120 runs in 103 matches including two hundreds and nineteen fifties.
Australia slaughtered Oman in their opening match beating them by thirty-nine runs.
