Virat Kohli, who has an excellent career against arch rivals Pakistan, had a rare failure in their T20 World Cup clash at New York on Sunday.
Having an average of 308 against Pakistan in World Cups before the match, Virat departed early in the innings after India was asked to bat first by Babar Azam.
Virat leaned out to try and slap it over point but ended up hitting it straight into the hands of Usman Khan off the edge of his bat for 4 after a delivery from Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah seemed to stop just a little.
This was only his second time that Kohli had been dismissed for a single figure total in 11 T20I innings against Pakistan.
At Kohli’s fall, Pakistani players cheered while Indian cricketers in dugout and fans in stadium were crestfallen.
One of the spectators present in the filled stadium was Darren J. Watkins, popularly known as IShowSpeed or simply Speed – an American YouTuber, rapper and online gamer among others.
In one video that’s going viral, Speed gets angry, miffed and terribly upset by Virat dismissal saying “shit happens” and “it’s not ok” when one of the Indian fans tells him to calm down.
Speed is passionate about Cristiano Ronaldo as he is considered football god but he also loves Vrat even referring him once as “GOAT,” which means Greatest Of All Time for those not knowing this acronym according to one Instagram post. This clearly shows how much Speed admires Vrat as a player through their social media interactions with each other,
During last year ODI world cup tournament Speed came to watch India playing against Pakistan.
India made an incredible comeback at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York beating Pakistan by 6 runs.
