Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain Shreyas Iyer’s pulled off an unprecedented toss technique by spinning around while flipping the coin against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL final on Sunday at Chennai.
Iyer’s began to throw the coin into the air, but as it was airborne, he changed his direction and followed a complete circular course before it landed on the ground.
After tossing the coin, Iyer’s face showed a slight grin, which left many netizens perplexed.
Nevertheless, Pat Cummins won and chose to bat first during the Finals despite this.
Sunrisers made one change from their last match bringing in Shahbaz Ahmed for Abdul Samad while KKR had their eleven unchanged from Qualifier 1.
KKR have earlier won two titles while SRH are chasing their second IPL trophy.
