
New Delhi: A huge fire An outbreak broke out at a grocery store in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bramli district on Tuesday night and quickly spread to nearby houses.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m.
Team from Hamdad Kupwara (41 RR) responded quickly after being notified by Sarpanch, arrived at the scene with its own resources and successfully evacuated all residents with the help of locals.
Coordination has been established with Kupwara Fire Station and Payarpora Substation Arrangements fire truck.
Two fire engines arrived from Payarpora and two others from Kupwara and Trehgam around 12.15 am.
Through the joint efforts of Kupwara fire brigade, local people and the fire department, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished at 2:30 am. indian army.
“There were no casualties and no animals were harmed. However, the fire caused significant damage to personal properties in four houses, a shop and an animal shelter,” the Indian Army said.
