At a thrilling moment during the IPL 2024 Eliminator, Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bengaluru showed his fielding skills on an amazing throw that sent Dhruv Jurel of Rajasthan Royals batter back to the dugout.
After trying to make it for a second run at Narendra Modi Stadium, Jurel was caught short by Kohli’s lightning-fast reflexes and pinpoint accuracy on Wednesday.
Kohli who was positioned at deep-square leg reacted quickly towards his left as he collected the ball before throwing it directly towards Cameron Green who in turn disturbed the stumps just as Dhruv Jurel tried to complete his second run; thus resulting into his dismissal easily.
Green appeared somehow not to be in control when he held onto the ball and Jurel was loosely going about running two laps only for him to lose his wicket.
This electric display of athleticism and precision played a vital role in sparking RCB to life and changing the dynamics within the game. Once again, Kohli’s exceptional fielding emphasized his all-around skills and passion for cricket.
