That’s exactly what happened in the third T20I between West Indies and Bangladesh on Friday at the Arnos Valley Stadium in Kingston, St Vincent’s.
When the third delivery was made on the 15th, Jack Ali flicked one Roston Chase Pitch to mid-wicket and ask for two, run hard to first.
Jack turned quickly and continued for a second lap, but Shamim Hussain started running, stopped, and then went back.

Both batsmen ended up at the same end and Jack walked back to the pavilion livid.
But replays showed Shamim was just outside the crease, his bat in the air, and Jack had slipped his bat in!
So the referee called Jack back from the dressing room and Shamim was sent off for two points.
