Watch: Alia Bhatt shines at Durga Puja during 'Jigra' release

Alia Bhatt During her visit, she wowed fans with her stunning appearance in a bright red saree Durga Puja Soon after the release of her much-anticipated film PandharJigra‘. Accompanied by sister Shaheen Bhatt, Alia exuded elegance and perfectly embodied the festive spirit of Durga Puja. Wearing a delicate net saree, paired with dainty earrings, the actress opted for minimal makeup and wore her hair in a chic bun.

Her radiant look turned heads as she celebrated the cultural event with big names from the film industry, including Ajay Devgan and Ranbir Kapoorthey also paid tribute to the pandas of Kajol Mukerji and Rani Mukerji.
Alia’s visit is very special as Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, premiered in theaters on October 11, 2024. Video by Vasan Balais an emotional action thriller about a sister’s relentless quest to free her brother from wrongful imprisonment. The film faced competition at the box office from Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Despite the conflict, early reviews have been positive.
Neetu KapoorShe, who attended a screening of the film in Mumbai, took to Instagram to share her glowing review and gave “Jigra” a five-star rating. She praised Alia’s performance and said, “Alia Bhatt, you nailed it.”
Rashmika Mandanna Echoing the sentiment, she expressed her admiration for Alia’s talent and craftsmanship on social media. She said: “You are an absolute blessing to all of us! Thank you for allowing us to witness your talent.” Mandanna also expressed his eagerness to see more of Vidang Raina’s work and praised director Vasan Bala and composer Home Achint Taka.
Mahesh Babu called the film a “blockbuster” while Samantha encouraged fans to watch it in theaters. She declared on social media, “There is only one @aliaabhatt. The greatest actress of this generation. If her movie is available in theaters, I won’t miss it and neither should you.”
Critical response was largely favorable, with many praising Vasan Bhalla’s direction and the film’s technical aspects. Comments on the cinematography and background music highlighted how these elements contributed to the overall experience of “Jigra”.
