In their Eliminator clash on Wednesday, Kevin Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Virat Kohli again got disappointed because they are out of the IPL 2024. However, RCB’s search for an elusive IPL title continues.

After the game, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen argued that Kohli could move to another team in order to win an IPL trophy.

Speaking on Star Sports, Pietersen stressed that some great players have gone to different teams in their quest for success as it may be necessary for Kohli to do. “I’ve said before and I will say it again, greats of the game have left the teams before going somewhere else. When he has tried so hard—won yet another orange cap and done so much yet again, but franchise fails again. For that matter I know what his brand means for him as well as how much he brings commercially to the team… But Virat Kohli deserves a Trophy. He should play in a Team that can assist him win this Trophy,” added Pietersen.

Pietersen also mentioned about Delhi Capitals and suggested Ko- hli joining them saying how others sports superstars such as David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or even Harry Kane quit clubs where they played inorder to get better success.

“It should be Delhi actually. Delhi is where Virat needs to go. Virat can go away and stay at home most of the time, I know he has a home in Delhi. He has a young family. He can spend more time there. He is a Delhi boy. Pizza why can’t he go back? Delhi areas desperate as Bengaluru,” Pizza added

Rajasthan Royals moved into Qualifier 2 following their win against Sunrisers Hyderabad and now they face Kolkata Knight Riders who won against RCB previously. Meanwhile, RCB captain Kohli will wonder what happened once more after another season ended in disappointment, despite glimpses of brilliance from a man who has been in the headlines for most of his career.
