BHOPAL: one illegal gun factory in the state of Madhya Pradesh was exposed after a video of a woman cleaning a firearm went viral. Morena District, madhya pradesh.
Reportedly, action was taken in Ganeshpura village, MCA police station District of Morena District. Authorities began an investigation after viral footage showed her using a brush extensively to clean the handgun.
After confirming that the video was real and identifying the suspect, ‘they carried out an operation in which they raided the suspects’ factory at 8.00pm on Friday.
Shakti Kapoor Sahwal has been arrested during this operation while her husband and father-in-law Bihari Lal tried to run away along with fire arms.
During the raid, semi-finished firearms were recovered as well as 315 pistols and 32 pistols owned by Shakti Kapoor.
Further search of the factory revealed some items and tools for making illegal weapons used in this factory; case registered under Weapons Act against two accused persons. Somewhere around 1 AM on Saturday morning.
The three were later taken to Amba court by police. Biharilal Sakwal was further remanded into jail custody while Shakti Kapoor was remanded to one day police custody.
Kapoor is being interrogated by detectives regarding his role in distribution network and other possible accomplices involved in illegal guns activities across India today. The enquiry is ongoing.
