Michael Carlton “Cal” Boyington, a veteran television agent and producer best known for his work on MTV osborne familypassed away at the age of 53.
Boyington founded Vital Artists Agency in 2020 and previously worked at ICM Partners and Paradigm Talent Agency. He has produced several projects including R5 Sons Alaska and workaholic. He is remembered for his vibrant personality and is survived by his parents and brother.
Michael spent about four years focusing on production and serving as executive producer at Manolin Entertainment before joining Rebel Entertainment Partners for a similar period. He has produced several notable projects including the Hulu documentary R5 Sons Alaska, Discovery Channel’s Bible Quest, VH1’s Cabo, Comedy Central’s Workaholics and HDNet’s The Baker Boys.
He is from Vail, Colorado and attended Butte Mountain High School. He later went on to study at Colorado State University in Fort Collins before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

His parents, Mike Boyington, live in São Paulo, Brazil, and Travis “Penny” Farrar, Little Rock, Arkansas, and his brother, BG Dickey. BG Dickey) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, both survive.
