Vijay Kadama, a popular Marathi actor, breathed his last early morning Saturday. He is 67 years old.
The veteran actor had reportedly been battling cancer for the past one-and-a-half years. He was undergoing treatment but passed away this morning. The death has left the whole of Maratha industry in shock.
He is survived by his wife and son. This morning he died at home after battling with cancer for a year and a half.
For those who don’t know about Vijay Kadam’s stage roles in the ‘80s and ‘90s, they were highly significant to him, both personally and professionally. Also an active player on stage for many years now, he participated in various theater events such as Tourtour, Viccha Majhi Puri Kara, Pappa Sanga Kunache etc. “Ti Prat Aaliye” was his last role in television series so far. His other notable Marathi movies include Tere Mere Sapne,” “Irsal Karti,” De Danadan,” “De Dhadak Bedhadak,” “Haald Rusli Kunku Hasalam” and many more like them.
