Bahujan Samaj Party head Mayawati has faced doubts from Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on the reasons for the formation of such a coalition. Yadav’s recent defense regarding its coalition disengagement in 2019 has raised eyebrows on his explanation concerning fissures between the two parties.
Yadav sought to respond to the allegations made by Mayawati and blamed her for making those allegations in order to hide her shortcomings. It was reported yesterday that, the leader of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav had stated that Mayawati is raising the accusations as a defense to her debilities.
This time, Mayawati stated in a pamphlet that the alliance collapsed as Yadav ceased picking recently when calling BSP leaders after the dissatisfactory outcome of the campaign conducted by the coalitions. She says she terminated the coalition in order to be concerned about the party.
SP teamed up with the BSP for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and once again managed to secure victory in 15 seats of which 10 was secured by Mayawati and 5 by Akhilesh uttar pradesh. “In Uttar Pradesh, with a view to preventing the BJP coming to power, Akhilesh Yadav forgave all the past sins of his party and promised to such a political party to form an alliance. Unfortunately, in the results of this very election, BSP got 10, and SP got 5 seats as if maintaining the alliance was a far-fetched plan but this Elder Yadav is no more receiving calls from BSP leaders and senior party officials. For this reason, I still have to say from the party’s view of GP, we have to dissolve alliance with SP, said Mayawati in the pamphlet to explain her political move.
Mayawati further said that in the recent 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Samajwadi Party and Congress joined forces to ‘mislead’ the PDA people (Pichhda, Dalit and Alpasankhyak) which was successful. ‘This time, they formed political amity with Congress and preyed upon the PDA people in the name of what has become a laughingstock, patriotism, the constitution and opportunities for all egalitarianism with greatest gratitude. But the PDA people will not let this go, and now they have to be careful about SP, “Mayawati said in the booklet.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas released a document for party workers, in which they briefed the party’s ideology and its strategy for the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The booklet conveys the rationale behind certain critical decisions made by Mayawati.
