UP Police Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow, is ready to conduct OMR-based written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Uttar Pradesh Police. The exam will be conducted on August 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2024 at various centers in Uttar Pradesh. As the exam date approaches, the UPPRPB has issued a set of important guidelines for candidates to ensure a smooth and fair exam process.
Candidates appearing for the examination must strictly adhere to these guidelines to avoid any inconvenience or disqualification.
Admission ticket and arrival time
Candidates must carry the admit card issued by the board along with a valid Aadhaar card or other form of identification such as e-Aadhaar, driving license or passport. Candidates must arrive at the exam center at least two hours before the exam begins. Arriving early is crucial, especially for those who have not mentioned their Aadhaar number in the application form, as their verification needs to be completed within the stipulated time. The entrance gate to the test center will close 30 minutes before the start of the test, and candidates will not be allowed to enter after that time.

Prohibited items
UPPRPB has issued a strict list of prohibited items at examination centres. These include any form of written material, whether printed or written, scraps of paper, geometric pencil cases, plastic bags, calculators of any kind, credit or debit cards, scales, photocopies, pen drives, erasers, records Table, electronic pen or scanner and digital pen. Additionally, candidates are not allowed to carry electronic products such as mobile phones, cameras, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, headphones, microphones, pagers, health bracelets, wallets, wallets and any form of jewelry. Other prohibited items include black glasses, handbags, hats, open or packaged food, cigarettes, lighters, matchsticks and coqa. If a candidate is found in possession of any of these prohibited items during the exam, appropriate legal action will be taken.

Strict legal action will be taken against such individuals and the candidates involved.
