The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the admit card for the constable recruitment examination scheduled to be held on August 30. Admit tickets for the exam of August 31 would come out on August 27, probably at midnight.
Starting on August 23rd, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination will run till August 31 with a view to filling up 60,244 vacancies. The Board of directors have put in place strict security measures to ensure that the process of review is impartial.
On the first day of the exam, admission tickets were downloaded by about 79.11% candidates who took part in exams. A total of 4,09,720 candidates had their admit cards downloaded in first sitting while 3,21,265 took part. In second shift, there are 4,09,880 admission tickets were download and 327,167 appeared.
By August 25th, 6,78,767 test takers attended it while 8,20,150 people accessed their admittance passes from this number. 60,244 police positions have received applications from 48,17,441 candidates.
Following allegations of question paper leakage, the recruitment resumed after February exams were cancelled. The Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation is offering free bus services to candidates and this includes electric buses in some districts.
The process of examination will last for five days and end on 31st August.
