New Delhi: uttar pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath Slamming the political equation that the Congress party shared with BR Ambedkar over a period of time.
Addressing the media in Lucknow on Tuesday, the UP CM highlighted the “unconstitutional and immoral insult” done to Ambedkar by the Congress.
“The purpose of this press conference is to highlight the unconstitutional and immoral insults meted out to Baba Saheb from time to time by the Congress and other opposition parties… Baba Saheb in independent Establishment and Creation of a Country constitution”, said the UP CM.
CM Yogiadityanath further added, “Every Indian has a feeling of reverence and respect for Babasaheb… bjp has been working hard to build the country that Babasaheb dreamed of. The Bharatiya Janata Party pays tribute to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
The UP CM said the Congress party has a history of humiliating Dalits in the country as the party “attempts to block the rights of the weaker sections on the basis of appeasement”.
“Congress has a history of insulting Dalits and weaker sections of the country. Congress has a history of trying to completely prevent Dalits and weaker sections from enjoying their rights on the basis of appeasement. Congress has a history of appeasement… Jawa Harald Nehru did not want Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar to be part of the Constituent Assembly,” claimed the UP CM.
