UDUPI: A woman allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday after reportedly being unable to cope with work after giving birth. The deceased is Prasana,29.
According to police, Prasanna got married on December 2, 2022 and is the mother of a 10-month-old daughter. Her husband works in Bangalore.
Her mother said in a complaint that Prasanna often called and said that although her in-laws were good to her, she was not ready for motherhood and felt it was too early because she Unable to balance work and family responsibilities. She is receiving treatment for these challenges.
She allegedly committed suicide at her husband’s residence between 10 am and 1.45 pm. A case has been registered at the Karkara Rural Police Station.
