MADIKERI: Kodagu district police arrests man for insult kodava women on social media.
Based on a complaint lodged by the President and Secretary, the police arrested Anudeep, a resident of Kushar Nagar. Kushay Nagar Kodawa Samaj.
Police said the villager allegedly used obscene language to insult women in Kodava on social media.
Madikeri town police also arrested Ayyappa and took action after Kushalnagar Gowda Samaj leaders lodged a complaint against him.
Police said Ayyappa and his associate Napapa allegedly sent derogatory and provocative messages on social media about the Godda community. Police said he was arrested on suspicion of insulting women.
