Shocking is the fact that Tusshar revealed during the making of Dus June Kii Raat that he had little to do with Ekta. He pointed out how they did not share much because whereas she was one of the producers, their different living arrangements meant that they were mostly following separate paths. “During the production I didn’t interact with her,” he said referring to their professional boundaries.
Tusshar’s family, particularly Ektaa, has quite a bit of superstition associated with it. Although Tusshar does admit some superstitiousness in his family, he made a distinction between faith and superstition in his own life. He described himself as “mildly and ritually superstitious” and said that before starting any new film he visited Tirupati Balaji out of faith rather than superstition. He also mentioned about respecting his family members who are spiritual but added “I am not superstitious about puja paths and dargas.”
