Pope Francis conducted his journey into Indonesia With a celebration on friday. “I consider myself a good Catholic who has practiced this faith throughout my life, but it mattered so much in my life that the pope head of the Church came to Papua new Guinea, physically witnessing his coming to us,” his aide quoted the incumbent Pope on the eve of his visit to the region.
Francis will visit the remote outpost of Vanimo to see his fellow country men, Catholic priests from Argentina who work among aboriginal people and are trying to convert them into Christianity, though they safely practice paganism and other tribes’ traditions as well.
