The entire event may have felt bland, but the Men’s MITB Ladder Match was filled with exciting moments that had the crowd excited. Let’s take a look at five standout moments from the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Here are the top five moments from the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match
1) Yes! yeah! yeah!
Midway through the match, Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso found themselves alone in the ring. The crowd was energetic, chanting Yeet and CM Punk to show their support for the two stars. However, this proved to be Uso’s moment as he first defeated McIntyre before knocking him out with a spear.
Uso then turned his attention to Gable, who proved to be no match for him either. But Chad gets a lucky reversal and knocks Uso to the floor. Jay may not be able to do much, but the energy of the moment alone makes it one of the best things about the night.
2) Drew McIntyre clears the game
At first glance, it was clear that McIntyre was going to cause problems for other fighters, and he was a problem in his own right. Drew started the attack by slamming Andrade into the barricade outside the ring. He then entered the ring and took out LA Knight and Jey Uso with a ladder.
Last but not least, McIntyre attacked Hayes and Chad Gable to clear the way for the briefcase. McIntyre’s sheer dominance in the ring made this match a fun watch for fans around the world, and it was one of his best moments in the game.
3) Andrade starts attacking
As Drew McIntyre climbed the ladder to get a contract, Andrade began to make his presence felt. McIntyre was stopped by Chad Gable, who gave him an armbar on the ladder. However, Andrade refused to accept it. He jumped off the top rope and kicked Gable hard in the face. This took both Gable and McIntyre out of the fight for minority status.
Andrade didn’t stop there; he put his hand on the ladder and used it to attack McIntyre’s face. He then used the same ladder to take out the LA Knight. He was briefly stopped by Carmelo Hayes, but Andrade retaliated by flipping him off the top rope and onto the ladder.
4) Falling like dominoes
Towards the end of the match, Andrade set up a ladder in the center of the ring and used it and the ropes to push another ladder into the air. When he made this arrangement, you could tell things weren’t going to end well. However, they didn’t end well for Andrade who arranged everything. Andrade and Cameron Hayes stood at the top of the ladder, with Andrade clutching the briefcase.
But when the two stars competed on the ladder, things didn’t go well for the Los Angeles Cavaliers. He flipped Andrade to the other side of the ladder, and Andrade grabbed Carmelo Hayes and powerbombed him through mid-air for the second ladder. The sheer damage and athleticism made this one of the best moments MITB 2024.
5) McIntyre gets the win
Towards the end, it seemed like nothing could stop Jey Uso from grabbing the coveted briefcase. Uso has climbed the ladder, is on his own, and has taken control of MITB’s contract. However, McIntyre had a flash of inspiration and placed a full-sized ladder in front of Uso.
This removed him from the role and cleared the way for McIntyre. Drew climbed up, took the suitcase, and called the day, ending an exciting MITB match
