Reacting to this development, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “LG is an agent of the BJP”.
“This is another big conspiracy against CM Kejriwal They were asked by the BJP. The BJP is upset as it lost all seven seats in Delhi. The BJP hatched this conspiracy even before the Punjab Assembly elections,” Bharadwaj said.
According to a statement from Raj Bhavan, the LG office received complaints that the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP received a total of $16 million from extremist Khalistani groups to promote the release of Devendra Pal Bhullar and support pro-Khalistani sentiments.
“Given the sensitivity and seriousness of the allegations in the complaint, LG hopes that the Ministry of Home Affairs may consider referring the matter to a national investigative agency so that the matter can be fully investigated,” LG said in a statement read by the office.

The LG office said the complainant “referred to the content of a video featuring Gurpatwant Singh Pannun (the Khalistani terrorist and founder of the banned Sikhs for Justice) in which he claimed The AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal has received a staggering amount of money. Between 2014 and 2022, Khalistani groups provided $16 million in funding.”
According to Raj Bhavan, the complaint alleges that “in 2014, Kejriwal and pro-Khalistani Sikhs held a secret meeting at the Richmond Hill Gurudwara in New York. During the meeting, Kejriwal allegedly promised to help free Devender Pal Bhullar, in exchange for large sums of money.
