The Cabinet approved the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion project to expand six corridors with a total length of 76.4 kilometers at a cost of Rs 24,269 crore.
The project will adopt a PPP model and be jointly invested and implemented by the state and central government. The detailed project report has been approved by the Cabinet and will be submitted to the central government for approval and funding as part of the joint venture.
As employees demanded that the previous government GO 317 implement transfers in an unscientific manner, the Cabinet approved three categories of transfers of government employees: spousal cases, health reasons and mutual transfers.
