Varanasi: Pediatrics exist Government Ayurvedic CollegeChowkaghat, organized a Swarna Prashant Thursday’s camp, where 480 children received treatment. Parents were informed about the benefits of Swarna Prashan, which enhances children’s immunity, intelligence and memory and helps prevent common and complex infectious diseases. Doctors also conducted health checks on the children.
The camp started with Dhanvantari Puja conducted by SMO Arvind Singh. District Planning Officer Dinesh Kumar Singh and CDPO Kashi Vidyapeeth Ramesh Kumar Yadav were present on the occasion.
Parents and children receive education on proper nutrition, health care, hygiene and diet to promote good health. They are taught how to prepare meals combining grains and homemade foods to enhance children’s development.
Information was shared about a balanced diet including grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables. Increased awareness about maintaining a healthy routine, proper nutrition and preventive measures against malnutrition.
